The first V2G-QUESTS general meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to define common goals for the project launch.
The First General Assembly of the V2G-QUESTS project was held online, marking a significant milestone in the initiative's journey towards integrating Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology within urban Positive Energy Districts (PEDs). The assembly brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, and community leaders, to discuss the project's progress and future directions.
The V2G-QUESTS project aims to develop comprehensive guidelines for the adoption of V2G technology, ensuring equitable access to clean energy transitions. By leveraging electric vehicles (EVs) as dynamic energy storage solutions, the project explores ways to balance the grid and enhance the integration of renewable energy sources. This approach not only supports sustainable urban mobility but also contributes to the creation of resilient and inclusive energy systems.
During the assembly, participants highlighted the project's interdisciplinary collaboration, which addresses technical, regulatory, and social challenges associated with V2G technology. This collaborative effort is essential for fostering sustainable urban mobility and energy systems that benefit all societal groups, ensuring that the transition to clean energy is both inclusive and equitable.
