Mission

Our vision is driven by a global challenge-based perspective that seeks to contribute to minimizing, preferably eliminating, the major global threats to humanity and the environment. To address these global challenges, we will bring together resources and knowledge across many different fields, and disciplines, including: building physics, services and construction, civil engineering, environmental chemistry, building biology data science, mechanical engineering, transport engineering, social sciences, architecture, and the humanities. This work will inform both policy and praxis but with a new focus on innovation and enabling activities, such as piloting, demonstration, testbeds, and support for market uptake.
