8th International Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference - 8iYGEC

Each ISSMGE Member Society will be asked to select two representatives to attend the young geotechnical conference. Ideally, they should be 35 years of age or younger at the time of the meeting. Senior geotechnical engineers will deliver keynote lectures and engage with the young engineer delegates during the technical sessions.

Participants of the 8th iYGEC are entitled to a 10% discount on the PhD registration fee for the ICSMGE2026. Further details regarding this offer are available on the official conference website.

The conference ticket (360 €) includes the following services:

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation, the following refund policy applies:

• For cancellations received by 16 January 2026, 50% of the ticket price will be refunded.
• For cancellations received by 31 March 2026, 25% of the ticket price will be refunded.
• No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after 31 March 2026.
