Thomas Wallek is one of the winners of the Wolfram Innovator Award 2024

The prize was awarded to Thomas by Stephen Wolfram during the Wolfram Technology Conference 2024, for using computational intelligence in molecular simulations and in the context of the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Marketplace initiative of Graz University of Technology.

Thomas’ area of expertise is chemical thermodynamics and its application in chemical and process engineering. In his research, he focuses on thermodynamic modeling, the estimation of physical property data, the characterization of complex mixtures and molecular simulations.
