On 29 July 2015, Swamy Kotagiri, Executive Vice President and CTO Magna International, met with the Rectorate of Graz University of Technology and the top researchers of FSI.
He was accompanied by Dave Pascoe, Vice President Engineering & R&D Magna International, Karl-Friedrich Stracke, President Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik & Engineering, Christian Juricek, Manager R&D Europe Cosma, Gerhard Krachler, Advanced Development & Product Strategy MSF, Manfred Speiser, Director Engineering Innovation Global Driveline Systems Group MPT, and Gabriele Ferrufino Vidal, Director Magna Education & Research/ Metalforming.
After a warm welcome by Rector Kainz and a brief introduction by Vice Rector Bischof, FSI professors Peter Fischer, Ralf Kolleck, and Christian Ramsauer gave a short overview on their current research activities. Projects were presented, further synergy potential identified, and future innovation approaches and activities discussed.
Afterwards the heads of the FSI institutes guided our guests through the T&F lab, the FTG lab, and the PSM Fab Lab.
