Welcome to the Institute of Electronic Sensor Systems
The Institute of Electronic Sensor Systems (IES) was founded in 2016 and covers this field in research and teaching. Sensor systems are ubiquitous in our daily life. Apart from the automotive sector, sensor systems face a strong increase in robotics, environmental sciences, aviation and the Internet of Things (IoT). To tackle the challenges arising in these areas, IES emphasizes a collaboration of students, leading industry innovators and university researchers at the forefront of innovation.
