The Institute of Biomedical Informatics offers topics for bachelor's/master's theses such as:

• Prediction of regulatory sequences.
• Functional and evolutionary analysis of genomic sequences.
• Phylogenetic analysis of genomic sequences.
• Analysis of gene expression data (NGS).
• Analysis of non-coding RNAs and small RNAs (NGS).
• Analysis of genomic data in the context of cancer.
