The MinPet2019 meeting was held at Graz University of Technology and was organized by the NAWI Graz Geocenter (Institute of Applied Geosciences, Graz University of Technology; Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Graz; and Mineralogy – Center of Natural History, Universalmuseum Joanneum), under the auspices of the Austrian Mineralogical Society.
The conference venue was situated in the building “Alte Technik” at Graz University of Technology, Rechbauerstraße 12, 8010 Graz. The opening ceremony and public lecture took place at the Universalmuseum Joanneum, Joanneumsviertel, 8010 Graz.
The scientific program covered a broad spectrum from fundamental to applied research in mineralogical and petrological sciences and its related disciplines. Topics were presented as oral or poster presentations. The scientific program was complemented by field excursions. The conference languages were German and English.
