Graz Center of Sustainable Construction: "Industriedialog 2024"
On July 2, 2024, a dialogue with high-ranking representatives from the mineral, wood, and steel construction industries took place within the framework of the Graz Center of Sustainable Construction to exchange ideas on project proposals for the jointly developed key topics:
- Material-efficient construction methods
- Circular economy
- Resource-efficient urban development
The lively discussion covered a wide range of topics, from EU legal acts to OIB guidelines, from short-term achievable goals to the potential Comet Center in the mid-term future, from success factors in research to obstacles in practical implementation, as well as the necessity of interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration and the concretization of common interests.
With the feedback from industry and sector representatives, work on the project proposals will continue. The aim is the joint submission of, for example, FFG Collective Research Projects.
