The current issue of the architecture magazine Baumeister, which uses the title "Baumeistern" in this special issue, focuses on the topic of "young and radical". Among other things, this issue includes an exciting conversation with up-and-coming planners and architects, including our university assistant Iveta Šarmanová.
In her article entitled "Tragwerk Erde", she presents her research idea, which aims to make the use of clay as a building material in architecture more attractive through the use of digital tools. As one of the oldest building materials known to mankind, earth has enormous potential for modern, sustainable construction. The integration of digital tools into the planning process can enable architects and planners to use the diverse properties and potential of earth more safely and efficiently.
