SPINNOVATION — FROM PATENTS TO POSSIBILITIES

From a patented technology to your spin-off idea in 8 weeks

Did you know that in the period from 2011-2021, an impressive number of 204 patents were granted at TU Graz? While many of these patents have been successfully implemented or licensed to interested parties, not all of them have found their practical application yet. These patents are currently unused and wait for the right idea to unleash their full potential.

Maybe YOU are the missing piece!

The 8-week project "Spinnovation" at the Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management in cooperation with the Research & Technology House offers you the perfect opportunity. Participants are given the chance to work with patented technologies, determine their market potential and develop their own business ideas on this in order to eventually start their own start-up.
