The IAT | LAB is the scientific research and development platform of the Institute of Architecture Technology. The institute and project staff work with interdisciplinary research teams to address transdisciplinary issues as part of research projects, research commissions or in independent work. The subjects of investigation range from joining technologies, materials, building components, construction systems, buildings and cities to construction processes and digitalisation. The main objective is to limit climate change and adapt to its effects by means of resilient buildings and cities through the establishment of a circular economy.
