This study investigates the degradation mechanisms of Pt3Co catalysts under varying humidity conditions using accelerated stress testing. Pt3Co experiences a 77% performance loss, significant structural changes, and increased resistance, while Pt shows a 30% loss. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering reveal Pt3Co’s high sensitivity to humidity gradients, highlighting its vulnerability to dealloying and accelerated performance decay.
